How does the service work?

CarSwitch is an online platform that helps advertise and sell your car for you. We don’t buy cars directly. We inspect and list your car, find a buyer, handle all calls and negotiations, and assist with the transfer paperwork.

What are the fees?

There's an upfront fee for inspection and listing starting from SAR 99, and a commission only taken after the sale and varies based on the car's price but starts from SAR 1499.

When and where can you inspect my car?

We usually schedule an inspection within 1-2 days. Our specialist can come to your home or workplace at a time convenient for you, typically between 9 AM and 6 PM.

How do you handle negotiations and viewings?

We handle all calls and negotiations on your behalf. If there's a serious buyer, we'll arrange a viewing at a time convenient for you. Our agent will be present to assist with the process.

Is my personal information displayed in the listing?

No, we don't display your name, number, or address on the listing. We handle all communications with potential buyers.

What's the duration of the listing and can I cancel it?

The listing is typically for 3 months. You can cancel at any time if you sell the car yourself or change your mind. Just remove the ad from your seller portal.

What's included in the inspection and how long does it take?

The inspection covers a test drive to examine the body, gearbox, engine, and computer diagnostics. We also take professional photos and a 360-degree video. It usually takes about 30-40 minutes.

Is my car eligible to be listed?

We only accept cars located in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Al Khobar, not older than 2012 and driven less than 360k km (200k miles).

How long does it typically take to sell a car through your service?

70% of our cars sell within 2-4 weeks. This is highly dependent on the car's condition and your asking price.

How and when do I receive payment for my car?

The buyer pays you directly. We assist with the transfer process and only take our commission after the sale is completed.

Do you also help with buying cars?

Yes, you can visit our website to browse available cars. We can assist you with the buying process as well.
